Dr. Johana Castro Wagner
Allergist/Immunologist
Dr. Johana Castro Wagner joined the Sher Allergy Specialists team in 2020 following three years with the largest allergy specialty group in South Florida, where she treated pediatric and adult patients with a variety of allergic conditions. Dr. Castro Wagner has a special interest in Food Allergies, Eczema, Hives, and Pediatric Allergy and Asthma, and she leads the Sher Allergy Oral Immunotherapy Clinic for Peanut Allergy. Dr. Castro Wagner trained under Dr. Sher during her USF Allergy and Immunology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, where she excelled in Allergy and Immunology teaching sessions to pediatric residents-in-training. Dr. Castro Wagner grew up in Venezuela and is fluent in Spanish and English.
